HOW TO USE BEETTAN SOLUTION
Step One: Communicate with your client and decide their goal and help them understand the way Beettan solution works and that it will give them their desired tan outcome and fade better the the solutions they are used to with bronzers. Beettan just turns their own skin tone rather than "Dying" it with cosmetic bronzers.
Step Two: Prep, your client! Look for dry areas of the skin such as hands, palms, feet, ankles, wrist etc. The client may need to apply Beettan blending butter after the spray tan session to the areas that you will be applying the spray tan solution that are dryer. If your client looks shiny or wet, you may have sprayed to heavy but IT'S OK. Using a clean, make-up sponge or the hose of your applicator to thoroughly dry your client so that they feel comfortable getting dressed.
Step Three: Using the recommended 2-2.5 ounces of solution per client. Begin at the bottom portion of the body, and work your way up. Ensure that you are one foot sway and gun is not spray to heavy (check silver dial on back of gun) as you go and that no excess solution is “beading” or “running” – if you do experience beading or running, use a dry make-up sponge to gently blot the area and return with a quick, light pass of solution and use hose to dry IF YOU SPRAYED TO HEAVY TO FIX. But try and get used to spraying lighter and closer so that you have less over spray (less mess) and lighter coats will leave your client feeling dryer after session.
Step Four: When scheduling appointment recommend them to dress in loose, cotton clothing. Beettan will not stain so if they show up dressed in tighter clothing, simply dry them a little extra with hose and let them know the color guide (brown color of solution) is for you to see solution going on, it is not a cosmetic bronzer and will not stain. In summer months I like with my clients wear comfortable leggings so that nothing will sweat off on back of legs if they have leather seats or sit outdoors while spray tan is developing.
